The Internet of Things (IoT) describes a system of interrelated, internet-connected physical objects that are able to collect and transfer data over a wireless network without human intervention. The objects are embedded with sensors, software or other technologies in order to connect and exchange data.
Example of use
Popular examples of IoT device are smart speakers like Amazon Alexa or Google Home and smartwatches like the Apple Watch.
