Open data charter
The International Open Data Charter is a set of principles and best practices for the release of governmental open data. The charter was formally adopted by seventeen governments of countries, states and cities at the Open Government Partnership Global Summit in Mexico in October 2015

The 6 principles include: 1. Open By Default 2. Timely and Comprehensive 3. Accessible and Usable 4. Comparable and Interoperable 5. For Improved Governance & Citizen Engagement 6. For Inclusive Development and Innovation
